Oneida Nation First Nation on the Thames has been under a boil water advisory since 2019. But, that may soon change according to Indigenous Services Minister Patty Hajdu. She talks to Craig about how the project may unfold and about her government's record on eliminating boil water advisories.
Then, Dr. Matthew Teeter, a professor in medical biophysics, medical imaging and surgery at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, joins the podcast to talk about a grant he received from the Arthritis Society of Canada and how his joint replacement research will be improved by it.

A new study from Lawson Health Research Institute and Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry says that vaping or e-cigarettes carry health risks that to this point, were unknown. Inhaling e-liquids could negatively affect “pulmonary surfactant” – a critical layer of the lungs that allows breathing to happen with minimal effort. Dr. Ruud Veldhuizen joins the podcast to explain the study and look at what the future of the e-cigarette industry might be.
